Dr.Erkin Mirrakhimov (Kyrgyz)
Dr. Mirrakhimov received his medical degree in 1983 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and specialized in Cardiology at All-Union Cardiological Research Center, Moscow from 1983-1985. In 1985-1988 he wrote at the same center his scientific thesis, which he successfully defended in 1988. From 1988 to 1991 he works as assistant professor in Kyrgyz State Medical Academy. In 1991-1995 he wrote his 2nd scientific thesis in Moscow, Russia, which he defended in 1995. From 1995 till now he has been working in Kyrgyz State Medical Academy and National Center of Cardiology and Internal Disease as a Head of the Atherosclerosis and Coronary Artery Disease Department.
Doctor Mirrakhimov’s research interests include Arterial Hypertension, atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, CVD risk factors, Heart failure.
