2026 Asian Cardiovascular Disease Series of Web Seminars Kicks Off with Dialogue Between Chinese and European Top Experts

The first of the 2026 Asian Cardiovascular Disease Series of Web Seminars will be officially held on January 14, 2026, at 19:00–20:30 Beijing Time. Titled "Sino-International Expert Dialogue: Application of β-blockers in the Whole Course of Cardiovascular Diseases," this webinar will be chaired by Prof. Zuyi Yuan from The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, the webinar will bring together distinguished experts from China and Spain for a dynamic academic exchange. The webinar will open with remarks from Prof. Yuan, followed by two keynote presentations: Prof. Lopez-Sendon (ES) will explore the continued relevance of β-blockers in cardiovascular treatment in 2026, and Prof. Dengfeng Gao will share the latest study and guideline updates from the European Society of Cardiology Congress (ESC) 2025.

A dedicated discussion segment will feature insights from Prof. Jun Jiang and Prof. Wenyi Yang, fostering in-depth dialogue on contemporary clinical practices. The event will conclude with a summary delivered by Prof. Yuan, encapsulating the key takeaways from this cross-border collaboration.
