Given Asia's booming economy, cardiovascular research across the region advanced rapidly. In line with this progress, the Asian Heart Society hosted the "2026 AHS Research Summit" online on July 4–5, 2026 (Beijing, China Time GMT+8, 8:30am–20:30pm). The Society remained dedicated to fostering collaboration among cardiovascular experts by providing a platform for communication and establishing long-term partnerships.

Over the past six years, the AHS Research Summit had been a resounding success, attracting a growing number of Asian experts and academics. The summit featured eight specialty councils of the Asian Heart Society (AHS) professional forums, each with two sessions, running across three channels over two days. These included the Interventional Cardiology Forum, Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology Forum, Heart Failure Forum, Cardiovascular Surgery Forum, Structural Heart Disease Forum, Hypertension Forum, Translational and Basic Cardiovascular Science Forum, Cardiovascular Prevention Forum, and more. The summit covered a wide range of new advancements in the discipline of cardiovascular disease. In addition, there was an advanced course on clinical research methodology, where renowned experts from home and abroad provided systematic teaching on clinical research methodology.

More than 150 distinguished experts from Asia participated in the conference online, delivering a rich academic experience for the delegates. The summit successfully facilitated knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the forging of lasting connections in the field of cardiovascular research in Asia. We look forward to welcoming you all again at next year's AHS Research Summit.
